Latest news from Esther - she now does Lion - roar with a claw hand, Snake - sssss, Monkey - ooo ooo ooo, and Hoot Hoot. She can also say Yes and nod head and say Toast, Bubba, Daddy and Mumma (occasionally). This week we had no tears at drop off at childcare - yay! I don't know if I told you that we received our first report card from Rainbow Cottage a few weeks ago - Esther is doing well at selecting toys, following instructions and the routine of the room - not so great at separating from parents and sharing! We're practicing those things :-) She still loves being outside in the garden - loves to play in the pile of leaves and water the garden with her watering can. Also likes to 'wipe and clean' furniture with a tissue or cloth and help me put away clothes. And today when reciting Humpty Dumpty from her nursery rhyme book she stood up and then 'fell' over when Humpty had a great fall! Jules and I couldn't stop laughing.

We also went to Melbourne for the long weekend and had a great time exploring the city. We met up with Uncle Jay, wandered the laneways, took trams and visited the Collingwood Children's Farm - lots of ducks. Esther charmed everyone she met and had her first babychino - a success!
